Words cannot describe how beautiful this home was. The pictures do not depict the large size of the great room and the fantastic views. Stunning! The 3 king size bedrooms make it a great retreat for couples, friends or sisters. Outside patios were wonderful and the residential neighborhood provided a serene environment. The decor encompasses the Sedona beauty and provides an all around excellent experience and restful sleep. Hands down a 5+ star home! We will return.

What a fantastic experience it was staying at Clara’s place! We arrived after dark and there were some lights left on for us, the place was immaculate, cozy and inviting. We had such a great vacation and Clara’s place was key to that: the views from the windows are priceless and it felt very private, in spite of being in a (very nice) neighborhood. This was our first family vacation- five adults and a two and a half year old. Plenty of space for all. So clean, bright and comfortable. Photos were spot on. The location was perfect for our needs. If you’re looking for a place outside town but still want an in-town experience, this venue is ideal! It’s perfect if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the town. We enjoyed the convenient driving distance to various hiking trails. Yavapai Retreat was just what our family needed for an enjoyable week stay in Sedona. Three bedrooms, all with king size beds, insured everyone in our family was comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances, cookware, and dishes, allowing us to cook a meal and eat in one evening. We would have loved to use the firepit and outside sitting area, but rain and chilly weather kept us on the inside. It was cozy inside too, however, with a nice fireplace and wonderful views of Sedona landscape out the windows. The location was handy, just being a few blocks off of highway 89, that easily takes you to all the Sedona attractions, as well as, many restaurants and a couple of grocery stores. There is a Whole Foods very close and another grocery a mile away called Bashas', that we actually preferred, because it carried brands that we are familiar with. Another plus was a fitness place, just under a mile away, called Sedona Fit, that had a weekly membership that my son could use.

Do not hesitate to book if you are looking for a great place in Sedona that is centrally located. We enjoyed the convenience of having Whole Foods close by. My family and I enjoyed our stay at Clara’s House in Sedona. The house was calming, beautiful, clean, and relaxing. The large windows throughout the home give you breathtaking views of the Sedona Red Rock mountains. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. My family also enjoyed walking around the quiet neighborhood in the morning. Additionally, there was easy access to the nearby hiking trails, shopping, restaurants, and a Whole Foods Market-which was very convenient. We were sad to leave because we enjoyed our time here so much and we would absolutely stay at Clara’s house again.

This host is excellent. The house was well stocked with the little things like extra toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods. Too often hosts leave a supply that is far too limited for the time spent. This property was well stocked, had a great view, centrally located, walking distance to the airport viewing, walking distance to Whole Foods. Just an overall ideal spot for a Sedona vacation and the house was great.

Our stay at this three-bedroom home in Sedona was nothing short of exceptional. Clara's place was such a perfect "home base" for our stay in Sedona. It was removed enough from very touristy areas while still being very close to everything. You can walk to the shuttle or whole foods. Most things were very short drives as well! The house was truly beautiful. Staying there in January we were able to have the fireplace on and just enjoy the ambience of the red rocks. The house is plenty big, large living room for gathering. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed the house and the neighborhood. We walked to Whole Foods and a few places to eat. All the trailheads we wanted to get to were a short drive from us and one was close enough to walk. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and we felt very safe. The house was exactly as shown and we loved coming home to hang out in front of the fireplace. We grilled out one night and enjoyed the fire table another night. The kitchen was well stocked and we made breakfast every morning. We had a few questions after we arrived and Clara got back to us quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying in this home so much in 2023, we decided to come back in 2024 for spring break. The home is spacious, wonderful views, and the beds and linens are very comfy, which makes a huge difference. Clara’s place has phenomenal views and in an excellent location. What isn’t listed in the description is how close this is to the Mesa Airport Vortex and the Mesa Grill Sedona! Not sure we were supposed to walk up to the Vortex area, but we did, and it was only maybe a 10 minute walk. The location was excellent, easy to get into the Uptown area but far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Walkable to Whole Foods and an excellent Italian Cafe for lunch or dinner or drinks! The home itself was so inviting, clear of clutter, beautiful decor, and stunning views. Even had a pair of binoculars for star gazing! Could not recommend this home enough.

Clara was so responsive and helpful with all our questions, great host. Location is close enough to main town but also in a nice quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Grocery stores close by and views everywhere you turn.

Clara's place was a perfect peaceful escape with everything you need to feel right at home. Close to everything. The views were stunning from the living room and some of the other rooms too! Star gazed by the fireplace to end our evenings! Very clean, fully stocked kitchen, grill outside. Only note is the water is on a cycle so hot water was a hit or miss when time to shower or bathe. I did address it with Clara, so I'm sure that will be all set for future guests! Highly recommend staying here.

This home was the perfect cozy base for our Sedona adventures. The location truly can’t be beat, it’s in a quiet neighborhood that is very close to grocery stores and restaurants as well as the Airport Mesa. The beautiful fireplace in the living room is flanked by tall windows with views of the stunning red rocks. For those wondering about layout, the master bedroom is on the opposite end of the house from the other two bedrooms which worked out perfectly for us. Communication with the host was seamless and easy, we couldn’t have asked for more!

Our family spent a fabulous week at Clara's place (parents and adult children). Everyone agreed that it was a terrific house and we were very glad that we chose to stay there. The location is perfect - you can walk around the quiet neighborhood and easily access a few nearby trails. But you don't have to deal with the traffic of uptown Sedona every time you want to go somewhere. The house itself was clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. There's lots of space to work remotely, read, watch tv, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a generous selection of cooking spices and there's plenty of room to have multiple cooks at the same time. We all loved staying here! Thank you, Clara!

Clara’s home was inviting and felt like home. The three bedrooms with king size beds gave us great flexibility with our little ones, as sleeping in an unfamiliar location can take some adjustment. This is a beautiful place, quiet and supremely clean. We had a great time cooking and relaxing for three days with beautiful views. It is very close to the airport so private pilot cross country fly ins are perfect. (The airport was very busy but well equipped and everyone was respectful.) It is very easy to settle in to and to make a home away from home. The place has great views of the rock formations, very nice neighbors, and is accessible to everything in Sedona that we needed. The house was well stocked with basic needs and made spontaneous cooking very easy, just like home. Our hosts were accommodating, responsive, and very respectful and we appreciate everything they provided.

Beautiful place, from the surroundings to the great decor. We really enjoyed the house and the fact that multiple hikes can be walked to from the house. There was also a wonderful open shared space that we took advantage of. Fast wifi was perfect for those of us who needed to work (and take video calls). Our stay at Clara's place was great! WE loved the location and especially loved how close it was to our favorite restaurants, Mariposa and Mesa Grill. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the sunsets. We recommend Clara's place because it was close to downtown but far enough to still enjoy some peace and quiet. We loved how close grocery stores, restaurants and other amenities were to the house. Clara's home is very comfy and welcoming, you feel right at home as soon as you enter the house.

I truly cannot say enough about this rental. We absolutely loved it. Exceeded our expectations. This place was very clean, light and airy, adorable style and decor, beautiful view (pictures can never do justice), had all amenities one would need, spacious, king sized cozy beds in all 3 rooms, large kitchen, cozy little fire pit outside, great books to read about the area, very close to uptown where all the shops are and the amazing restaurant mariposa (make reservations), also right by airport mesa you can probably hike there from the house. Clara was on standby with any questions, check in simple and clear, just all in all wonderful!!

The accommodation is located in very convenient place in West Sedona. You can easily access to airport and Airport Mesa as well. House is spacy, clean and silent. All 3 beds are comfortable and all my family could sleep very well. Having wine at beautiful main living room was best time during our travel.

Had a lovely time at Clara’s home. The location was super convenient to explore Sedona and the surroundings from. The place looks even better in person. It’s decorated beautifully, spacious, very well equipped, super clean, and in a peaceful neighborhood. Home was beautiful. Off the beaten path (tourist strip) yet 20 minutes away from several beautiful trails to hike or a short drive to the main strip. Bonus it was pretty dark outside so you could see the stars. The four of us fit comfortably with an extra room to spare. We will be back.

My traveling buddies said that I once again hit it out of the park when picking this property for our 3 night stay in Sedona. It's a wonderful, large space in a quiet, very nice West Sedona neighborhood that is close to the main road, 89a. The living and sleeping accommodations were excellent. Nice views! Beds were comfy and the bathrooms spotless and well stocked with towels, soaps. We were very happy with Clara's place.

The bow itself was spectacular, but so was the view from the Great Room. The house was well set up to include trash bags, paper towels, dish towels, dishwater soap, spices and the variety of cookware, bakeware, kitchen prep was outstanding. You do not have to run to the grocery store for the household supplies, groceries YES. Sedona is a beautiful destination, but if you never left the property you would still come away with a wonderful experience!

As if Sedona is not beautiful and magical enough, this home enhanced our experience beyond our expectations. The picturesque windows bring in not only the red rocks but the stars. We actually saw shooting stars from the couch. The fire place is the centerpiece to the home and creates a living space we greatly enjoyed. We’ll definitely be back. The host was responsive, attentive and made sure we were right at home. Walking distance to good restaurants and Whole Foods. West Sedona is a better choice than uptown if you’re deciding between the 2. Thanks Clara. Epic stay.

This house is everything you want in Sedona, it's big, gorgeous designed, in a great location (I hiked up the trail every morning!) with views, a working fireplace and the BEST beds I've ever had in an airbnb. The house is really well equipped, has great towels, a big yard and VERY fast wifi. I've been staying in multiple airbnb's and this is the most reliable wifi i've ever encountered. The communication with Clara was always quick and easy, and I felt very cared for.
