The house has all the amenities you could ask for and it was beautiful to enjoy the pool and spa to relax from the days activities. Amazing stay! House was even better than photos! Spotless and cozy—with every amenity you can imagine. Even in the cooler weather, kids used the pool with the heater on, which was a lot of fun! Our family had a fabulous time at this gem of a property in Sedona. It matched the photography. The amenities were as described. The pool and spa were an over the top hit with grandkids and adults! And so nice to have towels, floats and a super well maintained pool. The entire property is very well maintained. The kitchen is super well equipped for whatever level of cooking you would like to do. Location is right there for groceries, restaurants, tour companies…you name it it’s here. Also very much appreciated the rapid response to questions. This was a fabulous time for us. Our hosts were terrific on all levels.

Beautiful neighborhood, felt very safe the whole time. Well-equipped pristine kitchen, plenty of seating in the living room, along with a dining room table and chairs, and laundry room. Bathrooms were clean and bright, the house is in close proximity to anything you might need - supermarkets, fast food, terrific restaurants (Mariposa was so amazing that we went to Butterfly Burger and Dahl & Diluca- excellent experiences). Shopping, hiking, etc. we will not hesitate to reach out when we come back next year. Outstanding experience.

This property is very nice, and Clara was super responsive when we had a question about the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking in, the house is spacious and comfortable for multiple couples, the beds and linens are top-notch and comfortable, the location is central to restaurants, hiking trails, and exploring Sedona. The home had everything we needed and more. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice — it’s even more beautiful in person. This is an excellent property! Perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood in West Sedona with tons of trailheads just minutes away. We had 6 in our party ( 4 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 14). The house was clean in addition to being well stocked, spacious, and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the deck in the evening after our days of exploring Sedona as well as other areas of Northern Arizona. Even though house is located in a neighborhood, pool and deck were very private. We barely even heard or noticed any neighbors! Clara was a wonderful host. She answered all questions within minutes. Check in/out could not have been any easier. If you are planning to visit Sedona with a small group, definitely consider staying at this house!

I stayed here in Sedona for 5 nights with my wife and 3 teenagers. It is in a great location with hiking, biking, restaurants, and stores all close by (including a great bike shop 2 minutes away). Beautiful views all around and the house was spacious, comfortable, and had everything you need. The pool and hot tub were also nice. I definitely recommend this house.

We had an amazing trip with our family of 8, the place was amazing and very relaxing in a quiet neighborhood. There is local wildlife called javelina around the property that the kids loved to see walking around. The kids and our whole family loved the pool! There was an issue with our fridge not keeping food cold and Clara helped to resolve the issue immediately and there was great communication with the host the whole trip. We loved walking to local restaurants and grocery stores every day, be prepared for a bit of a hill and it can be hot, obviously, depending on the time of year or time of day. That didn’t stop us, we were super close to hiking and went on a new adventure everyday. Clara and Chris have lots of great recommendations for local places. Sedona is amazing and we will definitely be back and would love to stay here again.

This home was a perfect place to call “home” while visiting Sedona! The house is spacious, yet still cozy, and equipped with everything you need for your stay. Beds are comfortable - which is so appreciated after a long day of hiking! Restaurants, shopping & the more “well-known” hikes are just a short drive away (we never drove more than 15 min). And there is a nice trailhead about a 3 min drive which was great for early morning hikes. Kids loved the pool & hot tub. Five stars!

Beautiful home with amazing views. We saw many Javelinas and other great wildlife in the yard. Everything was spotless. All the thoughtful details made the house so comfortable. The view from the jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom is incredible. Seeing the stars from the hot tub was magical. The neighborhood is quiet and close to a park with pickleball, soccer, biking and hiking. So many incredible views just from walking around the neighborhood. Lots of great restaurants and stores within a short walk or drive. The pizza from Pisa Lisa is delicious!

My son and I used this house on a recent hiking trip to Sedona. We chose it for the hot tub and the Blackstone grill. The pool and kitchen are great, but the griddle was the best - easy quick bacon and eggs for breakfast and dinner with minimal cleanup.This place is great and has everything you need for a great stay - including spices, oil, foil, for cooking along with everything you’d hope for - great beds, great towels, and very nice TV’s in all the rooms. The hot tub heated up quickly and was nice after long days of hiking. We will go back when visiting Sedona and would recommend. The management was also very responsive to requests! Thanks Clara for a great product!

We loved this place. Close to everything but you do need to drive to everything. It’s hilly. Which means great views of nearby landscape. Night sky was easy to access nearby or from the back deck! Saw shooting stars and the Milky Way from the house. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen extremely well equipped with spices. Could have used a few small ramekins. Enjoyed having Tupperware and tin foil. Get the pool heat. You need it. The hot tub takes about 45 minutes to fully warm up. It’s lovely. Set up of the space was perfect for 2 families. Bonus… we were visited by very tame local Javelinas three times in three days!

Sedona is a magical place and being able to stay in this beautiful home just topped it off. We had three generations of family and each felt they had their own space and our together time was comfortable and pleasant. Thunder Mountain Abode is as advertised! Very clean, high end kitchen appliances, incredibly well stocked, great location and only minutes away from town, shops and restaurants. The property is very well maintained, in a quiet residential neighborhood with Thunder Mountain as a backdrop. Sedona is magical with so much to see and experience. We stayed four nights and were able to experience Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Williams, Flagstaff, Cottonwood, and Jerome. Our only regret is we should have stayed longer! A pleasant surprise was seeing a squad of Javelinas waltz right past the house one morning - we certainly didn't expect that! Would definitely stay here again.

This home deserves every 5 star rating and more! We had such an enjoyable week. Felt right at home with a comfy bed, relaxing living space, wonderful kitchen/bbq, and more. We spent more time at this home than we usually spend when staying at other rental homes… simply because we couldn’t get enough of the upstairs deck and the amazing pool area! A beautiful and peaceful neighborhood only added to the experience. Loved the location - so easy to get to restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities. Our family loved our stay at Thunder Mountain Abode!! It was a perfect spot for our trip up to the Grand Canyon and to enjoy all things Sedona. The house was beautiful and was everything the pictures showed. We appreciated the thought the hosts put in and had all the "little" needs included (from toilet paper, bathroom necessities, laundry to coffee and a whole lot more), it was a great surprise and touch. Our family loved having the pool and hot tub to relax in after all the great hikes within minutes of the property! We can't recommend this property enough.

Beautiful property right in the heart of Sedona. The house was top of the line with amenities and the space was big enough for our family of 5 during our stay. Upon opening the door, we felt right at home. The house is beautiful, clean and luxurious with lovely furnishings. It is in the perfect location with a quick drive to all uptown Sedona has to offer while being in the heart of west Sedona. Little details such as large towels, charging ports by all the beds, and nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash all helped complete the atmosphere. Wonderful experience at this home with our two families. Four adults and four children fit comfortably. We utilized the kitchen a lot (Whole Foods right around the corner) but also appreciated the close proximity to town for meals out. After a few nights in a hotel near the Grand Canyon, it felt like coming home to stay in Clara’s home. My kids were so excited by everything (that walk in closet!). We loved that the pool and hot tub were useable even though it was chilly. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed. Everything was very clean and ready for us. I loved how well labeled and easy to use everything was! Checkout was just a few easy steps which was great, especially for a short stay. Nice and quiet up on the hill, too. We slept like babies. We had an amazing stay, beautiful view, walking distance to many trails. The kids loved spending a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. The neighborhood around the place was also filled with potential activities. Perfect for a family who likes to stay active. It was also close to Whole Foods, parks, and bike rental. The house was very clean, and well stocked. Checkout was a breeze. Overall one of our best vacations. Thank you!

This house was perfect for our anniversary trip and would be awesome for a family with kids. There were multiple safety features in the home that would keep small children from getting out back to the pool area. The views were beautiful and the backyard was private and quiet. We would stay here again if we make it back to Sedona some day

BOOK THIS PLACE! It is so worth it. We flew in from Miami to get some mountain therapy and reset with nature. Waking up to a view while you're still in bed made us ask ourselves every morning "is this place even real??". The location of this house was great. Decor and cleanliness is top notch! Close to Whole Foods to get water, groceries. We were there late January, so it was a great time to actually walk to the store or just around the quiet neighborhood. We even cleared out our evening on our last day just so we can stay home and enjoy the house. Clara and Chris were very responsive and respectful. if you need any recommendations of what to do or where to go, they are also very informative on that. We will definitely book this place again on our next getaway!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this home. The views were terrific and the large windows allowed us to enjoy them. The home was the perfect temperature when we arrived. It was well stocked and had most everything we needed. The hosts go out of their way to make sure that you are acquainted with the area and give you a lot of ideas of things to do while visiting. There is a pristine pool and Jacuzzi, and it was very peaceful to relax in. The home has excellent appliances, and everything feels new. We would definitely recommend this home. if we are ever in Sedona again, we know where we are staying.

The property is beautiful. Everything in the house was well laid out. This place is close to grocery stores and restaurants and views of Thunder Mountain from my room were amazing. I had a great stay except the fact that we hoped to have more pots and pans. There is a limited selection compared to other Airbnb's and since we planned on cooking quite a bit this was a hassle. One other thing was generally we got good hot water but one time we tried to use the jacuzzi tub after a hike and we didn't get any hot water after that for our shower. I wish this could have been mentioned so we would have been prepared accordingly.

Wonderful home with spaces for our group. Quiet neighborhood. The outside spaces are wonderful. Best stocked kitchen we have ever experienced! We asked about hiking poles and she provided them for us and future guests to use. Comfy beds and a pleasing, calm interior. We appreciated that the emergency information was clearly posted; not that we needed it but if we had — easy to find.

Cant say enough about how great Clara’s place was for us, it really was perfect! We had a four year old so it was important to be assured of safety with the pool and jacuzzi—really appreciated the child proofing! The house was so clean and nice and big enough to do group dinners but then have our private rooms to retire to at the end of our long days of sightseeing. We really had such a great time, and the neighborhood is beautiful, walkable, and so convenient to everything we needed. Thanks again Clara, we hope to return next year!

We recently spent 3 nights at the home with our kids (7-9 yr olds) after 2 nights at under canvas grand canyon. The home is absolutely beautiful, pictures do not do it justice. Great location, near restaurants. Will need a car. Pool was small but great, hot tub was fantastic. House was very well maintained. Great views especially from the master. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in AirBnB before but this was my first experience reserving for our family vacation. Clara made everything easy, she is a wonderful host. She Responded to my questions immediately. This home is beautiful and in the perfect location for a day trip to Slide Rock and Grand Canyon. We live in southern Arizona which is a six hour drive. This family of 7 was excited when we walked into a cool home. The home has a perfect size pool to cool off in, after a hot excursion. My grandsons loved it! We hope to return to this location. Saved money as we were able to create meals in the fabulous kitchen and outdoor grill. I highly recommend this AirBnB for the great price, safe, quiet location and proximity to groceries and lots more. Thanks again for allowing us to have a wonderful family vacation in Sedona. We chose this home due to the pool and hot tub which we used after long hot days of hiking. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with spices, olive oil, sugar, coffee and tea. We enjoyed cooking on a Blackstone grill. Beds were very comfortable. We used the pool towels, puzzles, playing cards, laundry - detergent provided - and first aid kit during our stay. Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood close to hiking trails, stores and restaurants.

beautiful home in a great west Sedona location. you have red rock views right from the home. very well , extremely well stocked and thoughtfully laid out. comfy beds , great linen. the airport Mesa is about 4 mins away , which is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!!!! the pool and hot tub were also just as advertised and nice and warm and inviting with very comfy patio and deck furniture. star gazing is most excellent right on the deck. the host is very responsive and there to help ! a very very awesome rental and really has everything you need for a Sedona vaca thank you Clara
