Pet-Friendly Unit with Views, Grill, Yard

From the time we checked in, we felt right at home. The home was as-advertised, clean, and clutter-free. The vibe here complimented the peaceful and stunning views. We spent hours on the deck taking in the view of Cathedral Rock by day and star-gazing by night. We wished we had more time here, as we felt revitalized and recharged after only a couple of days. We found many restaurants in the area very accommodating to our plant-based lifestyle and more crystal shops and metaphysical services than we would have time for in a month. Clara was a very friendly, prompt and responsive host. highly recommended!

With one exception, it’s a really great place in a great location. As just about every other non-5 star review mentioned, there’s a false wall between the two units and it blocks only slightly more noise from the other unit than a shower curtain would. If you luck out and the other unit isn’t occupied, you’ll enjoy your stay. It really is a great location.

Beautiful spacious place. Excellent directions as this is definitely off the beaten path. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the local attractions including the Red Rock State park. We even took in a play at the school down the road. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Clara’s place and it was the perfect spot when traveling with our two dogs since they loved the private deck and yard. The space was clean, quiet and comfortable while the location was convenient to uptown and hikes. Clara was an extremely responsive and kind host always replying to messages quickly and providing recommendations when asked. Hope to stay again soon!

We booked Clara’s place for two nights while visiting Sedona. Right away the views were amazing from her place! The house was huge and roomy and my family felt right at home. It was definitely relaxing to come back too after spending our day hiking and exploring Sedona! Clara's place was perfect. We loved the recommendations for hikes: we hiked from Jordan Rd TH on the Brins Mesa trail, then Broken Arrow TH to Submarine Rock and finally to Cathedral Rock. We also loved sitting on the deck, so peaceful! The deck heater was much appreciated after dark, the night sky was spectacular. Sedona is a beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb.

The unit was nice enough. Clean. Comfortable beds. Communication was good and check in was easy. The unit appears to have been a single unit at one time and they’ve put a false wall down the middle and it’s now 2 units. The wall is not very substantial and is a poor noise barrier. There were folks in the other unit and they were having fun, playing cards or something and from a sound and noise standpoint, they might as well have been in our unit. This was a little disappointing. None-the-less, we had a wonderful time in Sedona and overall, the unit was good enough.

Peaceful stay in a picturesque setting. It was quiet, had a nice fenced in backyard that made it a great place to stay with a dog (wish I could have brought mine!) It was also filled with necessary supplies that made it a great home base between hikes. We would stay again!

Talks about how perfect this spot was during our week long visit happened multiple times. Favorite things were the back patio for morning coffee and star gazing at night with completely unobstructed view of the sky. The bed was crazy comfortable. Plenty of parking out front, very private and quiet area. Things to CONsider, tile floors although beautiful are cold, bring house slippers. Adjoining unit has a thin wall, nothing music can't fix. Lastly this kitchen has an induction stove top and no oven.... However making cookies on the propane grill was easily achievable. All of the mentioned points were minor in the grand scheme. This location provided great value, great views, and a comfortable homey environment. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

This is a wonderful space for a getaway! Surrounded by red rock views. Very special place surrounded by nature. The place was clean and spacious, kitchen had everything we needed. Clara was a great host and very responsive. The neighbors were a little loud during our stay and we could hear them a lot due to the connecting wall of the units. Messaged the host about it and she kindly told them to keep it down. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay here, would come back again! Cannot beat the views!

The property is ideally located, with all major attractions just a 12-17 minute drive away. For those interested in hiking and exploring West Sedona, this is a perfect area to stay, offering a peaceful retreat away from the main town. The house itself was immaculate and exactly as depicted in the photos. The fenced-in yard is an added bonus for guests traveling with dogs. The kitchen amenities were well-suited for preparing a quick breakfast and enjoying coffee. The only downside is that the wall dividing the property from the neighboring house is somewhat thin, and noise from larger groups next door can be heard. However, using earplugs or earbuds for sleep resolves this issue. Clara was an exceptional host—very responsive and attentive to her guests. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We wanted a place near trails that was dog friendly. We were in unit 2, which had a completely fenced in yard and deck with a view. We were about a 15 minute drive from downtown Sedona and only minutes from tons of hiking trails. The place was comfortable and clean and the host was super responsive to questions.

If someone is staying in the connected rental unit it is VERY LOUD. Like you can hear every word of conversation from the neighbors. The bedrooms are a little more separated so sleeping wasn't a problem but otherwise you can literally hear everything the neighbors are doing. Otherwise, I loved the location just minutes from Crescent Moon Ranch's creek access. The neighborhood is quiet and the view from the living room and deck is beautiful. The yard is not kept up so while there is plenty of space it's not useable for pets or humans. There is a rocky side yard for the dogs which was nice.

House was great. Host was great, quick to reply and sent followups throughout our stay. Cons: The backyard was a complete disappointment as it was FULL of foxtail weeds around 2ft high. We brought our 2 dogs and the yard definitely isn't dog friendly. We had to check their paws each time from going outside and pull the foxtails out which can cause serious issues if not pulled out. This was 100% our fault for not reading the description fully. We searched for "entire house" and this listing came up. This is a mother in law suite NOT a single family home. The wall in the living room has a door that connects to the rest of the house. Our first night the people renting the other half were extremely loud and up til at least midnight so our 8 month old was up most the night crying. You can hear the microwave, any noise they make including talking from the other side which wasn't ideal. I'm sure they were happy to hear our baby cry the entire time either.

Great space, lots of room. Set back off the main road, so great star gazing and quiet. Close to trails. Only down side is if someone is in the shared unit— there is an adjoining door and you can easily hear cooking/ talking/ music.

Had a lovely stay here. It’s a stunning area only about 15 mins from the town centre. We saw deers nearby and felt like we were really in nature but the location was also convenient and close to everything we needed. Clara was a helpful and friendly host. The shower was a bit tricky to use but otherwise everything was fairly seamless. Would recommend for an affordable stay in Sedona. Thank you Clara!

This is a cute little place, a little farther out, but nice and quiet. The fenced yard would have been perfect for our little dogs, if we had brought them, but we did not. It had everything we needed. The one downside is that the walls are thin so you can really hear a lot from the neighbors in the other rental unit. I'm sure they could hear us as well, and since we are super early risers, we were trying to be quiet in the mornings so as not to disturb them. Other than this one downside, this was a great place and I would recommend it.

Great views and nice amenities. My only 2 concerns with this place included the cleanliness of the refrigerator/freezer and the door between the 2 units is paper thin. We could hear conversations very clearly through it. The patio was so nice and the location was perfect for a relaxing weekend.

“Cathedral View” is such an accurate description! The living area was open to full window wall towards Cathedral Rock! Great kitchen area- Comfy bedrooms and large bathroom. The view and exterior deck helped make it a magical experience! The location off of Red Rock loop was also convienent and everytime you came back, the whole range of views unfolded. It was special every time. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The good - this half duplex is in a great spot if you’re looking to get away from the “busy” of Sedona. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with a mix of other airbnbs and residents. The kitchen was the best stocked I’ve ever seen in an airbnb, and everything was brand new and high quality. Note there is no oven. The beds were comfy. The yard and deck were great for our dogs. Internet was great for working from home. We saw deer, coyotes, and javelina at the house! The duplex is close to a number of great trailheads and Crescent Moon Ranch and Oak Creek. Also a quick jaunt up to the Cultural Park where trail opportunities are endless and not crowded. The not so good - it’s in the listing, but since this is half a duplex, if there is anyone renting the other half you will definitely hear them and they will hear you. It’s not so bad if the other folks are respectful but we had some partiers as neighbors for a week. Host was responsive in reminding them of quiet hours but not much changed.

I owned a home in Sedona for a lot of years, and regularly return. Anyone who has a history would tell you that the traffic has gotten crazy. It was so refreshing to stay in an area of town that is more like a neighborhood than a tourist destination. Allows for a feel of getting away after seeing so many people on the trails and roads for our holiday stay. I would absolutely return and the stay was such a great value dollar wise. Thats for hosting my girls and I. The back yard worked wonderfully for my 4 legged travel companions. Thanks Clara
